About Tojumi Health
Bridging the distance between diaspora families and quality elderly care in Nigeria through technology, trust, and compassion.
Our Mission
Why We Built
Tojumi Health
Millions of Africans living abroad worry daily about the wellbeing of their elderly parents back home. Traditional care options lack transparency, reliable communication, and accountability.
Tojumi Health was built to solve this problem. We’re creating a trusted marketplace where diaspora families can find, hire, and monitor quality care for their loved ones in Nigeria — all from their phone or computer, wherever they are in the world.
The name “Tojumi” comes from the Yoruba phrase meaning “care for me” — a simple plea that drives everything we do.
Compassion First
Every decision we make starts with the wellbeing of the elderly and the peace of mind of their families.
Trust & Transparency
KYC-verified providers, real-time updates, and secure payments so you always know what’s happening.
Technology for Good
We use technology to bridge the distance gap and make quality elderly care accessible to every family.
The Challenge
The Problem We’re Solving
Nigeria has over 15 million people aged 60 and above, with an estimated 17 million Nigerians living in the diaspora. Most diaspora families rely on informal arrangements — family members, neighbours, or unvetted helpers — for the care of their elderly relatives.
